	Montauk, New York Oceanside… Starting at the RW "MP" MO ("A") buoy from Offshore, head in a NNE direction (approx) to buoy G "1". This keeps you way off the rocks around Montauk Point. Head in a WNW direction (approx) to buoy GR "SR" "Shagwong Rock", watching your charts, course, and depth...keeping away from those shallow areas. Next head for RW "M" MO ("A") buoy, doing the same as above, watching your chart, course, and depths...keeping away from those shallow areas. Now head south (approx) in-between the jetties. Your Tide and Current really push you around as you squeeze into the mouth of Montauk Harbor. It is a busy harbor with Fishing Charters and Ferries going in and out. As you enter, there are eateries along the west side...and off further to the left is the Coast Guard Station. As you make your way in, you can go to the right to Montauk Marine Basin to Fuel up or Dock. The Famous Star Island Marina is in the middle. There are many Restaurants and Pubs to go to and if you don't want to dock you can head to port as you come in and anchor in Lake Montauk at the south end of town.
